Has anyone had experience with Sutent therapy?

Salve is about 10 days I started therapy Sutent and frankly I would talk to someone who has actually tried this because I do not care enough to read only what could be more decisive ... wish to speak with someone who has unfortunately experienced on their shoulders the terapia.Vi ask us sick is really important ... we need to have a hope or at least real elucidation!

Hello Baby,
I was looking for updates on the drug Sutent and I saw your message, I hope to help you.
My mum was reached in March 2006 for a renal tumor, it all seemed ok, but no lung metastases were swift, and after countless efforts by doctors managed to get us this expensive drug. He began treatment in early June with cycles of 4 weeks. and 2 week break but then were reduced to 3 and 2 break.
Just today begins the 5th round! last tac metastases are reduced to
minimum terms !!!!!! Unfortunately all the side effects described in the leaflet and every time there are all different. It 'very combative, and that's what you should be too. Do not be discouraged can be tough but not surrender, I'm sure there will be good results for you too!
If you want some other information or just let off steam answer, I hope to essert was helpful. Good luck. Sagu64

Hello baby ... I have unfortunately not much information, I can only tell you that my mother has made only two cycles with sutentClearly too early to talk of "reduction" of metastasis (as I read more of the parties), but at least your state is not advanced further .. I wish you much luck

hello aldo 74,
As I have already anticipated by the recruitment of Sutent, side effects, but there were always different.
At first occurred with pain in the legs, then each cycle
always different. Attentive to platelets and small bleeding signs (fixed by the drip).
The first 2 cycles were made and then 2 x 4 weeks of rest, but since the 4 weeks was the most annoying doctors have decided to make 3 +2 break.
In early February, we begin the new cycle, I hope will be the last, but doctors do not speak of cycles, and from what we have anticipated there might be a need for maintenance (hopefully with lower doses).
After 7 months of treatment now is a little more tired, with no appetite and a persistent yellow color. Hair is left (just a bit more brittle). The mood, though it is combative, sometimes goes down and I think it's normal.
I do not know what job you do, I hope with all my heart that you are able to withstand this treatment, you know is very subjective and if 74 is the year of your birth you have to fight with all your strength !!!!!!
Of course there will also be your new friends, like me, who will give you strength, and I recommend let me know something soon.
embrace
